CORAL RIDGE COUNTRY CLUB ESTATES HOA

Commercial Boulevard and the round Kenann building at
the NW corner of US 1 and Oakland Park Boulevard,
designed by Architect F. Louis Wolff, are probably the
nearest things to landmarks we have around here.

Today most communities the size of Coral Ridge Country
Club Estates would be designed with more impressive
entries and more attractive edge conditions, similar to the
entry to the new Enclave Development, which includes coral
stone entry monuments and elegant landscaping (see
accompanying photograph). The HOA Board recently voted
to first replace the existing entry monuments located at the
intersections of Bayview Drive and Commercial Boulevard
and Bayview Drive and Oakland Park Boulevard with new
monuments, and add new entryways at locations along US
1 and eventually, as funding permits, Commercial and
Oakland Park Boulevards. The new monuments at the
entrance to the Enclave will be used as a basis for the
design of our new gateways. The Board feels that by
replicating the Enclave entry design at the many entrance

points to the neighborhood, we will be building
neighborhood landmarks that will over time create a unique
and recognizable identity for our neighborhood.

The consistent use of the same landscape materials used at
the Enclave entrance, (Montgomery Palms, Live Oaks and
Ligustrums are the main trees) will reinforce the upscale
community identity and image we seek to establish with the
monuments. The Board is currently working with the staff to
complete the design of these new entryways and hope to
have the first two completed this year, if we are able to
timely navigate the design and permitting process.
