Acting President’s Message
Rio Vista Updates
n March 13, Fort Lauderdale will elect a new mayor and add fresh faces on
the City Commission. We look forward to seeing our newly elected officials
Owork hard for our city and district. I also want to extend compliments to every
candidate who participated in the Fort Lauderdale municipal elections. You deserve to
be commended for giving your time and energy to pursue your visions for improving
our city. Thank you to the families of the candidates for sharing your loved one with
the city. Voters and volunteers – you rock too!
Our next Rio Vista Civic Association general meeting is at 7:30 p.m. April 9 at the
Rio Vista Community Church. Parking is available in the lot across the street from the
hall; please do not park in front of residences.

was a success but couldn’t withstand the Florida weather. We know it wasn’t quick
